Overview of Video-ADB:
In order to meet subscriber demands for enhanced over the top (OTT) video on demand (VOD) services, Zeugma provides a unique application that leverages the bandwidth management capabilities of the Zeugma Services Node (ZSN)—video application driven bandwidth (Video-ADB). The Video-ADB application takes advantage of the Zeugma Open Application Sandbox (OAS) to identify OTT video flows, mark the traffic with appropriate QOS policy, discretely queue the session, and increase the available subscriber bandwidth to accommodate the flow.
